Michael McFerrin

I first started drawing when I was 7 years old drawing comic book characters and posters. Over the years I have progressed to drawing portraits from photographs as well as creating pieces from original concepts.

In 1995, I renewed my relationship with Christ, which opened up a whole new direction and purpose for my art. Just like Michelangelo, whose work I admire, I began to find inspiration for my art in the scriptures and through the Holy Spirit. My wife Angela and I were married in 1996 and out of her encouragement and love, MichaelAngela’s Creative Studios was born.

One of the visions that the Lord has placed on our hearts is to minister to people through our artwork. “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” We believe that one of the ways God has called us to fulfill this great commission is through these drawings and others to come. Through this “Visual Ministry” it is our prayer that people will be inspired, enlightened and encouraged. We have been blessed by the many testimonies of how people have been impacted by these images.

The scripture says “ And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. “ (John 12:32).
